- Should have vast knowledge of merchandiser’s operation on FMCG markets in UAE.
- Maintain customer relationship by regular engagement with the store managers & other stores in charge.
- Effectively support on sales team by ensuring that primary Point of Sales are maintained and developed through proper shelf management services and basic merchandising executions i.e. Planogram, Eye level displays, price tags, FIFO rotation, clean & optimum displays, restocking, monitor stock levels for prompt reporting and reordering.
- Aligning with the sales team on the day to day operations, sudden adjustments on daily store coverage if there is any, item availabilities and near OOS, near expiries, visibility development & improvements,
- Guaranteeing best location of secondary displays, monitoring customers reaction on company promotions & competitors and reporting of observations through promotion tracker to the management.
- Above standard execution and follow up of trade marketing activities, promotions, competitor’s activities and submitting of reports and presentations.
- Monthly collection and submission of validated Freshness Report & RSP survey through the merchandisers for Sales and Marketing reference and plan of action.
- Manage the area-wise route planning of the merchandiser for effective time spent in the market.
- Monitoring and managing the merchandiser’s work timings, attendance, performance through company provided merchandiser App for reporting.
- Organize vacation plans and route adjustments based on vacation and sudden sick leaves.
- Continuous monitoring and enhancement of the merchandiser’s skills through planned trainings to maintain quality result and enforcement of company standards in the field.
- Ensuring that merchandisers are in proper uniforms and strictly following the food safety hygiene when handling their assigned territories.
