Qualifications:
• Senior Electrical Engineer, having a minimum of 20 years experience in the MV plants (11kV and 6.6kV).
• Senior Authorized person carrying a current recognized training certificate (i.e. DEWA) for switching operations of the MV plant.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the construction and commissioning works of the MV plant (11kV & 6.6kV).
• Plan and carry out necessary switching operations of the MV plant during construction and commissioning stages, particularly where MV plant is installed.
• Responsible for ensuring HSE and QA/QC requirements for safe working of all personnel & Equipment during construction and commissioning.
• Daily coordination with the Civil, Mechanical and ICA Section Heads to ensure that no conflicts will be applicable during the construction & commissioning stages.
• Coordination with the Vendors and Subcontractors, including the review of the Method statements and Site Acceptance Tests procedures.
Below additional information :
- Normal working hours is 10 hrs/day and 6 days a week
- Candidates must be within UAE (preferred)
