Job Description
Carries out Mechanical troubleshooting.
Download programs, software for the vehicle and update accordingly
Carry out overhauling of Engine, Automatic Transmission, HVAC following manufacturer standard
Carry out repairs on all Mech comp like Drive Train, Suspension, Brakes ,Chassis, Wheel Alignment and Body Elec like SRS, ABS etc. along with maintenance Services
Carry out road test to ensure that quality of repair
Trained on European Trucks and busses would be added advantage.
Communicates with the foreman during the work to inform him of the check results and of his work, and also to ask for his help or assistance and assists Technicians as needed.
Observes the safety rules defined for the equipment, instruments and products to avoid any work accident
Observes the work time set by the Foreman in order to meet the standard productivity requirement
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
• High School and Auto Electrical Certification
• Preferably 3 years Diploma (OR) 2 year I.T.I in Automobile
Experience
• 4 Years as Mechanic (Repairing level) for commercial vehicles
Knowledge & Skills
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Proficient in repairing all mechanical Drive Train, HVAC, Suspension, Brakes ,Chassis, Wheel Alignment and Body Elec like SRS, ABS etc along with Maint Service
• Repairing — Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
• Troubleshooting — Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
• Equipment Selection — determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Health and Safety — Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures of promoting health and safety of self, team, property, etc.
