1. Production Engineer or Manager required for managing XLPE or NBR manufacturing unit. This position will oversee the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations.
2. Should have similar experience in setting up similar plant. Need to make sure goods and services are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards.
3. Gulf experience is added advantage
4. Support engineering team
5. Draw up safety protocols. Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
6. Report issues to the General Manager
7. Develop strategies to improve efficiency and profit
8. plan and draw up a production schedule
9. decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
10. set the quality standards
11. monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
12. monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programmes
13. organize the repair of any damaged equipment
14. liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients
15. ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met
