The Job:
Receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the warehouse in their designated locations or route them to their intended locations
Responsible for quality control of company products and goods
Conduct routine inspection of shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
Manage warehouse space to accommodate incoming and outgoing inventory shipments
Organized inventory to reduce margins and improve shelf-space efficiency
Unloaded truckloads of inventory, use of hand jacks and roll cages
Maintain a secure and mobile operating space
Organized inventory database information using an inventory scanner tool
Ensure products are handled in a correct manner as per the SOP. Maintain KN 5S housekeeping standards
Ensure correct Put Away and Replenishment of Products based on Task Generated by WMS
Perform Picking Task as per Task Generated by WMS
Perform the picking task as per the Standard Operating Procedures to Load trucks and containers correctly on a timely basis to ensure no delays in deliveries to stores
Report damages of product, to equipment and property to supervisors promptly
Operate company equipment safely and as per the SOP
Selection Criteria:
At least 1 year warehouse experience with a reputable logistics company. Preferably in a large warehouse environment before (over 20,000 sq m), with another 3PL in the region.
Tasks may involve; picking, loading, marshaling, and receiving. Previous experience in one of these is essential.
Previous experience using an RF scanner is essential.
Aware of WMS and 5S warehouse standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Previous experience working with food items and E-commerce.
English communication skills (verbal and written) and basic arithmetic for counting, addition and subtraction
Hard working and committed and willing to work on shifting schedule
