الوصف الوظيفي SALARY: up to 19,000 AED all- inclusive depending on experience and qualifications HIRING COMPANY: Construction Company WORK LOCATION: UAE AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (1-month maximum) EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent CANDIDATE PROFILE: Open to any nationality, Arabic speaking candidate is advantageous Male, 40 y/o and below المهارات Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or NEBOSH International Diploma in OSH or NVQ Level 6 Qualification in Health and Safety Minimum 5 years of experience as a HSE Manager position in a Construction Industry With Internal or Lead Auditor IRCA Certification in OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 is preferred With OSHAD Certification With UAE Construction Environmental Management Plan knowledge Should be familiar with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard, OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management, ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management; and ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety Management System Sound understanding of UAE HSE legislative requirements Holds a valid UAE Driver’s License Broad knowledge and experience in risk assessments and audit processes Able to develop and implement HSE plans Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques Ability to develop Emergency Response procedures/plans Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Applications JOB DESCRIPTION: Monitoring the day-to-day management of Health, Safety and Environmental issues Participating in the follow-up and close-out of corrective actions that arise from operational activities, meetings, incidents, emergency exercises, inspections or audits that take place within his area of responsibility Assist the Project manager in the general supervision of the HSE program Provide a dedicated audit and inspection program Monitor the implementation of the HSE program Execute periodical, audits and inspections on site, and address appropriate corrective and preventive actions Prepare audits and inspection formal reports and verify the follow up Guide and facilitate the investigation in case of accidents, incidents and near misses Collaborate closely with Employer’s Representative with regard to HSE Monitor regularly the HSE performance through the dedicated KPIs Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures, to the evolution of the Project Update the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemed necessary Provide a site HSE Training program Coordinate and directly participate, while appropriate, the HSE Training activities on site Keep accident records, identifying the areas to which prevention must be addressed Lead and coordinate the activities of the Site HSE Committee (composed by all Project HSE Representatives) Lead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fire prevention/fighting team, organizing training and emergency drill mock activities.
