Hiring Quantity Surveyor
The candidate should have minimum working experience of 5 years as a Quantity Surveyor in interior fit-out industry in UAE. Should have market knowledge of material, labor, costs, able to conduct rate analysis, formulate item rate and should be well versed with value engineering.
Work closely with designers, able to read detail interior drawings, identify items, understand specifications and prepare item description. Make BOQ and prepare a budgetary estimate for the project. Develop supplier database by sourcing subcontractors/suppliers. Obtaining costs from subcontractor and evaluate quotations.
Manage contract administration including sub-contractor agreements, LPO’s, payment recommendation and other documentation Good negotiation and interpersonal skills. Should be knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and related quantity surveying and estimation software’s Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Civil/ Architecture.
