The primary role of the HVAC technician is to maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units within the facility as per the terms of the contract between Inspire Integrated and the client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to perform prescribed standard preventative maintenance checks and tasks to ensure proper operation of all HVAC systems.
Repair of the HVAC system including diagnosing and rectification of all aspects of HVAC equipment and systems, these systems include, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, fan coil units, packaged units, split A/C units, close control units, heat exchangers, ventilation fans, chilled water pumps etc.
Identify spare parts and consumables requirements and prepare material requisitions for procurement.
Perform daily monitoring of all systems on site specific monitoring log sheets and reporting any defects
Monitor operation of all equipment in the facility through BMS system; report and attend to all abnormalities.
Ensure all Inspire Integrated HSE policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Participate in company provided training to improve competency.
Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, contractors and clients.
Other duties as required. Required to work hours to meet the operational needs.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
Attend training/TBT/briefings on a regular basis/as applicable
Be aware of work place hazards/environmental aspects and controls.
Ensure to conduct your duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
In particular, staffs are encouraged to take reasonable care of themselves and others and report any unsafe acts/condition to their line manager/HSE representative without delay.
Be aware of and adhere to the company policies and procedures posted on the notice boards or as communicated via tool box talks or HSE briefings.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment for the type of work being performed.
Be aware of responsibilities and actions in case of emergency circumstances.
Report any accident/incident/near misses immediately to line manager/HSE representative without delay, carry out initial investigation and be available to support any further investigation as necessary.
Create awareness of and contribute towards zero accidents/incidents.
Always ask if in doubt stop the task immediately, seek assistance and report to their immediate line manager.
المهارات
Essential Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintaining HVAC Systems.
Hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of chillers, cooling towers, chilled water pumps and fresh air handling units.
Ability to troubleshooting control panels with different configurations.
Ability to understand BMS logs and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
Desirable:
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Previous exposure to water treatment systems.
Experience in performing maintenance activities on all types of equipment with varying levels of complexity.
Essential Qualifications:
Higher school certificate or equivalent.
Industrial training certificate in refrigeration and air conditioning system.
Time served apprenticeship.
F-Gas certificate or equivalent.
