Senior Manager Al Wasl Zone

The purpose of the role of the Senior Manager – Al Wasl Zone is to execute on the Security Plans (Concept of Operation) for both the readiness and event phases. This also extends to being assigned to primarily cover one or more geographic zones within the Expo 2020 site. The role includes supporting the event operational functions, processes and SOPs.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

- Support the Deputy Head – Security Operations in the development and implementation of plans for Zone to cover all aspects of the security arrangements as directed including; scenario, contingency, Incident Management and emergency evacuation, and others;

- Oversee and Manage Security Planning and Delivery for the Zones during the phases as defined;

- Draft and propose SOP’s ahead of future requirements;

- Monitor and manage timelines and deliverable, ensuring that all milestones are identified and met;

- Oversee training requirements for staff involved in Zones, ensuring appropriate personnel are trained and briefed as appropriate;

- Oversee and Manage Security Planning and Delivery for the Zones during the phases as defined;

- Lead the team responsibly and proficiently, providing effective line management to direct reports;

- Objectives and evaluate performance of individual direct reports and actively manage key personnel issues;

- Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development programs;

- Provide visible leadership to the team and across the organization to key stakeholders.

المهارات
8+ years of experience in Security or Military, Police background as well as;

- A Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field;

- Strong Presentation and Communication Skills;

- Strong Customer Service Skills;

- Demonstrated time management skills;

- Demonstrated experience in delivering on plans;

- Demonstrated experience in Incident Management and Conflict Resolution;

- Strong Attention to detail skills;

- Demonstrated experience and expertise in Planning and Organization;

- Thorough understanding of Security operations.
