We seek a detail-oriented, self-motivated and proactive Architect / BIM designer to collaborate and work cohesively with our high-achieving team and organization. The desired individual will assist in streamlining creative design and technical production from conception through overall completion of projects, utilizing Revit for all phases of Architecture delivering high detailed models and shop-drawings, mainly related to Architecture and Interiors (FF&E;) up to LOD 500. This role includes coordination with the project team, clients, and regulatory agencies. The candidate will be required to coordinate and review designs and drawings (may include drawings of other disciplines and sub-contractors), monitor BIM Model Progress (clashes, standards, etc), research technical solutions/materials, prepare project schedules. He or she must be acquainted w/ technical drawing conventions & standards, have time management skills able to detail with speed and accuracy.
The successful candidate will prepare designs and engineering drawings of jobs by incorporating the contract specifications, client requirements and government regulations without compromising the constructability of these designs. Coordinate with other project stakeholders to ensure the use of creative solutions in the design of jobs that reduce manpower requirements, cost and time.
Develop architectural plans, sections, elevations & details in organized submissions and keep the drawings up to date changes
Create customized Revit content/Contribute/Assist leadership with firm-wide Revit standards, model management, and technical support to other Revit modelers.
Collaborate with internal / external team members on project deadlines and workflow milestones.
The successful candidate may be required to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management. He or she will be supported by Architectural BIM operators with high exposure to Revit however may have also to work autonomously.
المهارات
Experience in Architectural and Interior design preferable working in a reputable Consultant or Contractor.
Precast experience desirable but not mandatory.
Modular building experience desirable but not mandatory.
Extremely organized, detail-oriented self-starter that can manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines.
Experience in advanced Revit modelling and drafting.
BIM organizational and BIM problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in implementation and improvement of BIM standards.
Demonstrate quality and thoroughness in all aspects of work performed.
People management skills to lead and assists in the training and development of personnel in the Engineering function.
Thorough knowledge of architectural building systems with the ability to create technical drawings and 3D models in accordance to standard construction techniques and principles.
Software Skills:
Revit (Preferably Autodesk Revit Certified)
Microsoft Office, at minimum Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
Desirable but not mandatory: BIM 360, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, 3D Max + V-Ray Next, SketchUp (basic) + Lumion
