As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for application support and enhancements of the company’s proprietary platform. The company operates on an integrated hybrid platform of off-the-shelf and inhouse applications. The platform is built on the latest technologies including Microsoft web technologies and Azure.

Description
Provide level 1 application support tickets across all sites.Be responsible for gathering requirements, designing of the resolution of bugs, and small and medium sized change requests.System testing, including preparation of user test cases, working with end users.Prepare and keep current user guides & documentation on all proprietary applications.Development where required for small enhancement and bug fixes.Map user’s business requirements to technical design.Perform analysis on technical and business environment.Scheduling of work items with Product Manager.Responsible for preparing QA/test environments including data preparation and scripting along with performing testing of system (unit, system, co-ordinate UAT etc) and maintain test evidence for audit.Preparation of training and communications materials; user guides and documentation. Train IT colleagues and end users as required.Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning activities as required.Adhere to internal audit controls as appropriate to department role; ensuring that audit requirements are enough to secure satisfactory levels.
Profile
Computer Science, business applications or related primary degree/qualification.Minimum 3-5 year experience in an IT development role.Background in C#/ MVC/ASP.NET/ /Classic ASP.Working experience of Oracle/SQL Server; Oracle PL/SQL preferred.Good experience with Data Visualisation tools like SSRS/Tableau or equivalent.Business Analysis skills.Knowledge Agile/Scrum Methodologies.MS-Office and Visio, Jira.
