Legal Advisor

Legal Advisor will be accountable for taking the day to day legal responsibilities.
The primarily responsibility is to provide high quality advice to the organization or the client on major legal issues/problems and formulating the best possible legal solution after analysing the legal problem in depth. Responsibilities
• Give accurate and timely counsel to the business on legal matters
• Draft and review agreements, contracts and other legal documents
• Research and evaluate legal matters regarding business decisions and operations
• Create the legal function from scratch
• Advise Company on any new laws, regulations or statutes, which will impact its business operations and corporate functions
• Familiar with UAE and Saudi Law and maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation and regulation, especially as it relates to Financial Technology companies
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice to management on possible legal issues or new regulations impacting the company
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external legal counsel, public authorities etc.), creating relationships of trust
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for businesses.

• Contract, Labour Law, Regulatory
• Strong Communication Skills in English and Arabic
• Ability to work independently in a start-up environment
• E-commerce Law
• Commercial Law
• GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• Required language(s): English and Arabic (essential).
• Experience in working in a technology company- ideally in a start-up- highly desirable
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Required Skill(s): Contract drafting and negotiation, Corporate law, Contract law, External Counsel partnerships
• Experience in licence agreements, service agreements, revenue agreements and joint venture agreements preferable
• USA Contract law experience an advantage.
