• Create designs for consumer facing digital products.
• Ensure your UI / visual design work communicates clearly, is on brand and engages users.
• Work effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs effectively.
• Making sure that the user interface is usable and accessible
• Design user journeys and digital experiences that are simple and elegant.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering and user research to ensure a smooth digital product development process.
• Give and receive feedback from other designers to continually raise our bar for quality and consistency.
• Advocate for our customers in a fast-paced, corporate climate.
• Get involved in defining digital product strategy for the different digital product portfolio.
• Leverage insights, analytics and other information touch points to define the experience in a way that delight customers and adds value to the Group.
• Build prototypes, wireframes and any other artifacts that contribute to the end to end digital product development process.
المهارات
Around 8-10 years’ working experience preferable in the e-commerce field in a similar role.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written in English and Arabic
Proven experience as UI & UX designer or similar role
Portfolio (please attach link or copy to your application)
Minimum 4+ Years of experience in a design role (agency, studio, or in-house for e commerce/retail preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Design and Visual Communication, Communications Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Advanced command of industry standard design tools (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision) and prototyping software.
Experience working with web or mobile based technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android Studio, XCode, etc.
Understanding of delivery methodologies with an emphasis on agile.
The ability to take feedback/direction to generate multiple design explorations and iterate those designs.
Ideally exposure to agency life.
