FOREMAN- SR. PIPE WELDING

الوصف الوظيفي
 Having the health and safety as the first priority on daily activities.
 To support Supervisors and Planners in preplanning, generation of programs, and follow up of all jobs in order to utilize optimum resources - manpower and equipment.
 Auditing and assisting as required, the Foreman in providing the TBTs & Dynamic Risk Assessment.
 Preplanning & follow up inter trade sequences & interferences, ensuring optimum use of resources.
 Coordinate with Welding Engineer, in maintaining the Welders qualification records & WPS registry.
 Ensure optimum utilization of welding equipments in workshop, welding consumables, monitoring/reporting of wastages and maintaining the welding consumable handling procedures.
 Ensure that all the works are carried out to the required quality in the best possible manner.
 Ensure all safety requirements for those reporting to them and the processes under their supervision are complied with - raise Occurrence Reports and Safety infringement forms in case of non-compliances and Quality Observation notes for non-conformances on processes and procedures.
 Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas of the project.
 Compliance with Company Quality Management System and DPM.
 Stop processes if they do not meet specified requirement, raise occurrence reports, and approve satisfactory completion of any rework that may be necessary.
 Ensure monitoring of all activities are carried out as per the approved Dept. Work Instructions.
 Motivate the team for optimum performance, monitor the performance, and provide continuous appraisal of all subordinates.
 To communicate upwards - training needs for Welders, which are in line with the project requirements, process improvement suggestions and follow up on implementation.
 Have the ownership of success or failure as the case may be, on their projects.
 Maintaining all Management system & production records.
 Controlling the manhours spent vs. allocated for the jobs.
 Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
 Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.
المهارات
 Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
 Minimum 5 years of experience in shipyard, oil and gas industry or in the related field.
 Good command of English language, oral and written
 Good planning skills, leadership quality and communication skills.
 Should have knowledge with ASME Section IX and AWS rules.
 Minimum five years welding experience in a shipyard, Oil & Gas industry or related field.
 Should be conversant with applicable safe working practices and quality standards.
 Ability to manage / control a multi-national workforce.
