Design of Rotating equipment, basis of design, equipment sizing and selection such as Pumps, Compressors, turbines, Diesel Engines, Turbo-expanders and their associated auxiliary support systems and/or skid mounted packaged systems. Preparation of Rotating equipment (API or equivalent) data sheets, specifications. Develop Material Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Perform Technical Evaluations Review of Vendor proposals, Interface with Vendors, Package engineering. Generate Material Requisition for Purchase (MRP) packages, including defining all scope/line items, inspection requirements, documentation requirements, etc. Mechanical design and calculations of machinery spaces, equipment supports, material handling devices, installation and maintenance methodologies. In depth working knowledge of applicable rules and, regulations, codes of practice, international standards. Act as technical authority in the Mechanical Rotating discipline on Offshore, FPSO, FSRU projects. Witness factory acceptance tests and attend dock trials and sea trials. Technical review of quotations and liaison with chosen vendors. Participate in design reviews and take necessary follow up actions to ensure adequate quality and progress of the deliverables. Manage a team of Mechanical Engineers. Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the engineering department/ section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
المهارات
10 + years relevant experience in engineering company / Oil & Gas industry. Working experience in major EPC projects. In-depth knowledge of rotating equipment for oil and gas process, safety standards and design techniques, material selection and compatibility with handled fluid/installation environment. Experience in EPC companies and main vendors. Strong background with resolution of technical issues during projects planning and execution phases. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with departmental / project objectives. Project management skills is an added advantage. Detailed knowledge and experience with cryogenic rotating equipment is a plus. Proficient with software such as , PV Elite, Caesar2, ANSYS,
