The Manager for B2B Domestic Ticket Sales for Government and Corporates will be the point of contact with all the Government, Semi- Government entities, Corporate accounts, Consulates, Embassies and Ministries, etc… within the UAE to secure ticket reselling and promotion agreements to drive ticket sales for Expo 2020. This activity will be important in helping Expo 2020 achieve its visitor goals of 25 million visits whereby 70% of the visitors are expected to come from abroad, 30% domestic. Main responsibilities for this role include: - Drive Ticket Sales and meet visitor target goals via all Government channels and Semi Government Corporations; - Build and strengthen relationships with associations and UAE private sector companies and non-for profit organisations to facilitate Ticket sales; - Work with Expo 2020 Destination Marketing and the Expo 2020 Government team to educate the Government and corporate on general information and commercial value of Expo 2020 and create awareness in Expo priority market; - Create and action opportunities for corporate group ticketing and support; ticketing for corporate meetings and incentive programmes to drive important visitor volumes; - Develop creative ticketing sales channels and special programs to maximise visitation thrrough ticket sales from both government and corporate segments; - Represent Expo 2020’s interests during local government roadshows and at in-person sales calls; - Manage Government and corporate reseller accounts for B2B web-based portal ticket purchase activity, promotional kit use, adherence to policies and procedures, payment collection and reconciliation; - Source and develop additional Ticket Reselling opportunities as may be of interest such as through associations; - Maintain updated and accurate sales development and account management reports and; - Perform other job-related duties as requested.
المهارات
6+ years of experience in Destination/Ticketing Sales/Marketing with knowledge of the Hospitality industry in the UAE as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field;
- Relationships with UAE Government, Semi Government and key UAE based corporations is a must;
- Strong experience facilitating B2B business for large scale, globally important international events and/or corporate events;
- Proven record in sales achievements;
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with excellent communication skills;
- Excellent customer services skills;
- Able to represent Expo 2020 in a very professional and diplomatic manner;
- Strong organizational skills; Detail oriented with high attention to quality;
- Detail oriented with high attention to quality;
- Ability to interface with employees at all levels;
- Willingness to travel often within the UAE to meet prospective collaborators and clients.
