Job Description and Requirements The Department of LES invites applications for a full time position in Marine Biology. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to the goal of developing environmental scientists and managers for the U.A.E. and to display leadership in curriculum development and research. Faculty is sought who can offer high-quality teaching and research in areas related to Marine Biology, and related introductory science courses, and help develop innovative interdisciplinary courses and programs. The Requirements Candidates should have a PhD at the time of appointment in Marine Biology from a recognized university, and the capacity to teach and research in an interdisciplinary environment. Evidence of teaching excellence and experience is important along with a student-centered and innovative approach to teaching. Preference will be given to those able to teach introductory courses at the undergraduate & graduate level Biology & Microbiology in Abu Dhabi & Dubai campuses, as well as help develop programs |
