The role of the Associate is to provide support in one of the following areas within stakeholder integration: Partners, Police & Governmen, and IOO. The role includes project management support, including planning and delivery on specific goals and objectives across the unified plan for VIP Protection and aligned to Expo 2020 objectives and goals.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Support and Assist the Project Manager in the coordination of stakeholder integration within the areas identified above within Expo 2020 initiatives and unified plan;
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and report to keep up to dates records on deliverables up to the event phase;
- Provide project status and deliverables to the Project Manager, ensuring alignment and on track;
- Handle issues and rectify where appropriate and within the role scope. Escalate for appropriate action to the Project Manager where needed;
- Coordinate day to day tasks, including appointments, room bookings and administration activities to support stakeholder integration and the Project Management office requirements;
- Support in the Translation of documents and paperwork from Arabic to English (and vice versa) as part of a wider unified plan between Expo 2020 and where required/as appropriate;
- Support the Project Manager in organizing activities, including workshops, conferences and seminars to support further integration and knowledge sharing on Security/Mega Event requirements;
- Research on topics relevant to the stakeholders integration program, draft and present reports on findings, including Presentations where required;
- Deliver on any other duties requested by the line manager from time to time to meet business requirements.
المهارات
2 + years of relevant experience as well as;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations or other relevant field;
- Understanding of project management principles and planning;
- Demonstrated experience with project management tools;
- Strong Planning and Organization skills;
- Demonstrated Research skills;
- IT literate, in particular with Excel, and its formulas;
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral in Arabic and English.
