We are looking for an experienced Head of IT for one of our client to oversee IT (Information Technology) operations in the company. You will be in charge of a team of IT managers and manage the company’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies.
1. Excellent knowledgeable in IT and compute infrastructure.
2. Solid technical background and proven people management skills to manage and motivate people.
3. Experienced in creating and implementing IT policies and systems to meet over all objectives.
4. Oversee entire IT department, including infrastructure and applications
5. Liaise between all parties to understand requirements and how best to meet them
6. Procure buy in from senior management for needed projects
7. Manage and oversee all stages of the development lifecycle for new projects
8. Report progress and challenges to senior management
9. Work to meet the overall corporate goals
10. Optimize profitability and customer satisfaction through technology
11. See that all reported issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
12. Identifying and eliminating security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security
13. Directing and supporting the implementation of new software and hardware
14. Identifying and recommending new technology solutions
15. Managing the organization’s help desk (internal, external, or both)
المهارات
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required; master’s degree is a plus
Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, is a plus
2. Minimum 8 years’ experience in the technology field
3. Minimum 3 years’ experience in leadership or management in an IT
4. Significant experience in all phases of the development lifecycle
5. Solid working knowledge of current IT Infrastrcture security needs and threats
6. Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
7. Expertise in data centre management and data governance
