Job Description and Requirements
The position is one that requires:
Experience teaching mathematics till Grade 12.
Leadership in relation to curriculum initiatives, the learning and teaching process and co-ordination of a range of classes as per CBSE curriculum standards.
The HOD Maths will facilitate student learning with the department in order to enable all students to achieve to their fullest potential.
Leading and managing the Math department including, modelling best practice in teaching maths, implementation of curriculum, monitoring achievement of students and effectiveness of teachers.
Record keeping requirements and ensuring fair and effective assessment procedures.
Ensuring continued innovation in the teaching of Mathematics.
Providing opportunities of enrichment for gifted & students with special needs.
Handling efficient and effective deployment of staff and resources.
Interested candidates with M.Sc, B.Ed/M.Phil. in Maths and minimum 3-5 years UAE experience as Mathematics Teacher preferably in a leadership role
