The role
Stakeholder Manager - Arabic Speaker
This is a critical role interfacing with local authorities, local communities and executive client contacts. This role is key to the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi and the successful applicant will have existing networks and experience operating at a senior level in the Abu Dhabi market place.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the development, coordination and implementation of marketing, communications, community relations, advocacy, and stakeholder relations programs and strategic plans.
Engaging with key stakeholders and neighbours to ensure they are well informed and engaged in all phases of the project, from planning and through construction.
Communicating with all internal and external stakeholder of the project, including local authorities and government departments.
Interfacing and liaising with different parties to ensure effective completion of the project.
Building and directing an effective team that works collaboratively toward achieving the organisation’s goals.
Providing expert advice, on stakeholder engagement, both within and externally to relevant parties.
The requirements
Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:
Minimum 8 - 12 years of professional experience required for client experience.
Minimum 5 years working experience in the Middle East required for client experience.
Proven leadership managing a multi-cultural team to deliver high quality outcomes in a dynamic and sometimes sensitive environment.
Proven experience leading people through change.
Experience in fostering a constructive and customer focussed team culture which is agile and resilient.
Knowledge of best practice in stakeholder engagement theory and practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Fluency in Arabic both written and verbal.
Qualifications
A relevant degree qualification.
A member of a relevant professional body.
