The role
Infrastructure Project Manager - Major Exhibition Programme
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing from detailed design phase through delivery to handover.
Managing the project planning and execution of all civil construction works on the site.
Directing and coordinating activities of the project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Promoting safety and assisting with the implementation of all applicable HSE programmes, policies and procedures.
Building and sustaining relationships proactively with clients and general/subcontractors, both while on the job and through networking outside of work.
Reviewing project proposal or plan to fully understand the scope of the work and contract to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project under general supervision.
Conferring and advising project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties and responsibilities.
Reviewing status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
Monitoring the planning, development, implementation, construction and testing activities and reports on any issues, delays, changes or concerns to management.
Preparing and/or reviewing project reports for management, client and others.
Coordinating project activities with government regulatory and other agencies.
Completing the estimation work as necessary.
Performing other duties as assigned.
The requirements
Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:
Minimum 8 years’ professional experience within the industry is required for client approval.
Previous UAE experience with local authorities and infrastructure projects.
Proven success in delivering civil and infrastructure projects.
Good knowledge of road and transport construction practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
Pro-active, quality focused and not afraid to make decisions.
Flexibility in changing requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work closely with peers and external customers.
Strong oral and written communication skill.
Qualifications
A degree qualification in civil engineering.
With professional memberships.
