Job Description and Requirements As an already accomplished Electrical Lead you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the design, coordination, specification, code compliance of the Electrical engineering. Technical Leads a team of select engineers and designer to carry out the design activity Provide guidance to the team of select engineers and designers Carry out detail design, sizing, calculation Verify and check the design done by others Prepare and Check Equipment Specification, Datasheet, Material Requisition Technical Bid Analysis of Vendor Offer, Vendor Drawing Review of Electrical Equipment such as HV/LV Switchgear, Transformer, AC/DC UPS, Bulk Materials, Motors, VFD Ensure Compliance with HSE Knowledge of Various International Standards Such as IEC, IEEE etc. Knowledge of Lighting Design and Lighting Control System for Industrial and Office Buildings Power System Study and Protection Skills Grounding and Lightning Protection Design Knowledge of Saudi Electric Company Standards and HCIS (High Commission of Industrial Security) Standards will be added advantage Knowledge of Cathodic Protection System Co-ordinate all activity with other engineering disciplines stream for the projects Co-ordinate all activity within the engineering disciplines stream for the projects Co-ordinate with Client, Prepare Comment Resolution Sheet Ability to convince Client Engineer over technical issues Ensure Quality Check and Implementation of Engineering Procedures Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university and ideally holding a Professional Engineering license Minimum of 15 years of experience in the building design industry Ideally with experience of working within an international design consultancy LEED/GSAS Certification is also preferred Experience of working in the Middle East would be highly advantageous Job: *Engineering - Electrical Title: Lead Electrical Engineer (Marine and Shipyard) - Dubai, UAE Location: AE DUBAI-Bur Dubai Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
