Job Description and Requirements Lead Project Planner is an integral part of the bid support team in Project Management. His duties include understand the bid spec, build methodology, overall project control systems of theprojects and prepare the project schedule, resource histograms and other bid support documents pertaining to project management.. To study the Client spec / Client deliverables / Build methodology and prepare the schedule with proper logical link and sequencing of activities. To create Work Break Down Structures suitable to the Project. In put the Resource discipline wise and prepare the Resource histograms Prepare the commodity Chart (monthly Quantity distribution) and review the peaks. Familiarize with Yard existing Projects / Facilities engaged to avoid any possible clash . Familiarize with Yard Fabrication capacities, capabilities and constraints. Identify / review the Project Control Requirements of the Project, give feedback to Estimation. To liaise with Estimation / Engineering / Procurement / Trades for any schedule clarifications. Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the Yard are strictly followed Perform other job related duties as assigned by the Section Head. Skills Graduate in Engineering Discipline Computer Proficient Good Working Experience as a Lead Project Planner in major Shipyard / Oil and Gas organization Good working knowledge of Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project planning software. Good Working Knowledge of Overall Yard functioning and Resource allocations. Education |
