Role Description
• Establish solution architecture and modelling guidelines
• Steer, guide, define and deploy the Collaboration platform aligned with the Future Roadmap
• Work in setting up a training practice for this Platform
Role Expectations
• Develop and define strategies and solutions for cloud-based enterprise solutions that handle the data necessary for enterprise operations.
• Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration considerations makes the difference.
• Strong understanding of digital strategy and architecture concepts
• Was part of a digital transformation / IT strategy development and execution
• Ability to learn new concepts and carry out technical research
• Analyze existing platform / infrastructure environment / capabilities
• Conduct Business Requirements workshops and compare with existing capabilities to map a roadmap for this programme
• Gather, understand and synthesize documentation available from vendors, SMEs, systems, product managers and business analysts to be able to extract right information and transform it into different architectural diagrams or viewpoints.
• Accountable for weekly reporting with Technical and Management updates for this programme and communication with senior management
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
• 10+ years’ experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing simple and complex Infrastructure Solutions
• 3-5 years of experience using Enterprise Architect tools to create high and low level design diagrams and views
• Ability to manage vendors, work and communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders in a variety of situations
• Effective organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Bachelor’s Degree (Master preferred) in software engineering or computer Science
• Certifications in relevant technology areas would be preferable
Technical Expertise:
• Experience in 1-2 years of Cloud Transformation projects including but not limited to AWS, AZURE, Google etc… Certification in any one will be added advantage
• Atleast 3-5 years of experience into Network, Voice and Collaboration Technologies (Office365, Skype for Business or TEAMS or Cisco Jabber or any Enterprise Voip Solution)
• Background or experience in working with Vendors over RFP / RFT Function
