Job Description and Requirements
• The role requires someone with at least 5 years of UAE / Middle East experience in procurement of typical construction materials you would use in MEP or HVAC construction.
• You will be required to negotiate hard with suppliers in the Middle East, India, China, and Europe to secure the best deals for the company and this must be clearly shown on the cv underneath each company that it corresponds to. Please write down the typical countries you source from and examples of the products on the cv.
• The procurement will be down to you, it is not to manage a big team of procurement engineers so if you are not hands on the role will not be suitable as this company is fairly niche and does not have a very large workforce.
If you do not have the above experience you will not be considered for the role.
Requirements
• Ideally you will have an engineering degree, mechanical or electrical, and around 8 - 10 years of procurement experience ( around 5 in UAE or GCC ) and have been working for MEP contractors, HVAC contractors or possible manufacturing companies in these industries.
• You need to have a proven track record of negotiating and saving costs from suppliers both locally, GCC and internationally.
• The cv needs to be a WORD DOCUMENT and please make sure under each company you explain who your company are and what sort of contracting work they do.
