Main Responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing project management of assigned roles feeding into the road map. Manage and deliver the content exhibits and programmes content from inception to delivery for the 6-month event;
- Responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Expo Live events (annual Global Innovators’ summit), events participation, activation, programming integration of Expo Live grantees;
- To act as a liaison officer with the assigned Expo 2020 inter-dependencies (i.e. content and programming team, events team, protocol, events operations teams, procurement, contract and finance);
- Planning implementation and contribution to the development of the Expo Live content mapping feeding into the content masterplan Feed and update the timelines and critical path of deliverables;
- Manager expo Live calendar of events and activation during Expo 2020 Dubai with set objectives and KIPs with the completion of outputs and their timely delivery consistent with Expo 2020’s priorities;
- Build a network of collaborators and partners, a pipeline of inspiring projects and platforms/mechanisms for active engagement between the Expo 2020 stakeholder community and selected entitie;
- To showcasing leverage current and newly developed knowledge sharing platforms (including but not limited to Expo 2020 events, partner events and through Expo 2020 social media platforms) to support and showcase selected projects before and during Expo 2020.
المهارات
6-8 years of combined management experience in event management, content development, programme management in International Relations context, as well as:
- Bachelors Degree;
- Experince in progressively responsible management / professional-level experience in the private sector at international and/or national levels, or relevant management consultancy;
- Pragmatic and able to research, analyse and solve problems as required and ability to lead, command respect and to create a sense of cohesion and support in the Expo Live team and with the Global Innovators;
- Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, controlling programme and demonstrated programme coordination, management and organizational skills within multi-cultural work environments, with experience in the MEASA region being a strong recommendation;
- Demonstrated experience in conducting and/or overseeing project feasibility studies, business model evaluation and/or financial due diligence reviews for grant projects;
- A track record of team work and ability to produce high-quality results, outputs with minimal supervision, good stakeholder relations and an ability to network and presentation skills at all levels of seniority.
