Our client is now recruiting for a Logistics Officer
ROLE/JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for efficiently and appropriately registering and maintaining Purchase Orders in SAP and coordinating with Finance department and the Managing Director
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
• Register and maintain Order details in SAP.
• Ensure regular follow ups factories and updates to inter department personnel.
• Process and prepare inspections, authorizations and any other requirement for shipment of orders.
• Prepare all shipping documents for orders in line with delivery terms.
• Processing and authorizing supplier invoices for payment, including freight invoices.
• Negotiating with the transport companies to get the best prices for all the transport works.
• Report daily on project progress and results.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education required:
• Bachelors in a related discipline and/or relevant work experience.
Required:
• 2-3 years of experience in same position.
• Previous experience in a multinational company and environment.
• Experience dealing with Chamber of Commerce and Banks.
Technical/ Professional skills:
• Very good knowledge of SAP.
• Very good knowledge of Incoterms.
• Understanding warehouse and inventory.
• Creating shipping/delivery routes and schedules.
• Tracking shipment progress.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
• Strong organizational, customer service and communication skills. Communication skills.
• Time Management skills – Ability to meet deadlines.
• Perfect written and spoken English. Ability to communicate clearly at all levels.

• Respectful of others, and possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
