JOB PURPOSE:
As a representative of the department, he/she is responsible for the development of sales, achieving set monthly targets within the guidelines and goals set by the Department Head.
NATURE & SCOPE:
• Will handle set of accounts, segments and territory as outlined by the DOS.
• To develop new business from various leads, i.e. walk-ins, telephone enquiries, email, referrals according to coverage areas.
• To complete 60 sales calls per month, excluding telemarketing and attending to walk-ins. This must be recorded in advance of each sales call in the weekly sales activities worksheet.
• To achieve monthly targets as set by DOS based on Monthly production report of live accounts and other specific targets as laid out by DOS in line with hotel’s overall budget.
• To participate in sales blitz, as planned and directed by DOS.
• To execute sales trips, under the direct approval of DOS to areas with potential for Rove Hotels.
• Conduct hotel show around, apartments and facilities.
• Complete and submit the following reports: weekly sales call activities at the beginning of each week, Monthly productivity report, monthly sales platform, and monthly sales activities by the 3rd of each month.
• To use the sales platform and monthly productivity report for specific strategic actions on segments/territory and specific accounts
• Responsible for keeping account management records up-to-date.
• To follow guidelines and procedures as laid out by the DOS and the hotel in general. To follow the set line of reporting when referring to any work matter.
• Assist the Finance Department in collection of overdue payments, security deposits or overdue rentals, if required.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining the mailing list.
• Perform any other duties and participate in projects that may be delegated from time to time including Manager on Duty.
المهارات
• Bachelor Degree in related fields or equivalent similarity experience required.
• Minimum 3 years or equivalent experience in Sales in Hotel industry.
