The purpose of the Integration and Coordination Manager role is to support and coordinate all cross functional delivery planning and integration for the Transport, Traffic and Parking services/ operations with special focus on forward looking and driving proactive planning ahead within the different Transport, Traffic and Parking Work Streams/ Functions as well as Event Operations Departments and Functional Areas. In addition, to support the integration, coordination and management of stakeholders and partner relationships with particular focus on the government entities during the integrated planning phase.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Project manage the achievement of Transport, Traffic and Parking different work streams/ functions’ milestones, and own the risks and issues log to ensure it is well integrated with the Expo 2020 central project management team;
- Organise the Transport, Traffic and Parking Functional Area to assist in developing and delivering the short and medium term plans to ensure all service groups/ work streams are integrated both within the functional area and across Expo organisation;
- Drive and lead the coordination of Event Transport Operations Plan (ETOP) development and ensure its compliance, consistency and alignment with Expo-wide operations plan;
- Drive the recognition of interdependencies and integration within Transport, Traffic and Parking as well as the wider Expo 2020 and its government/ commercial partners;
- Update and develop the Transport, Traffic and Parking service model, guest group demand model and manage the change control mechanism in order to keep all functions consistent and aligned;
- Support the structured governance of Transport, Traffic and Parking and drive the management of data across all functions;
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders including Event Operations Delivery Office and Integrated Operation Office and Portfolio Management Office.
المهارات
6+ years of relevant experience as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree;
- Specific experience in programme/ project planning and management;
- Experience in working with government partners and stakeholders.
- Project management of a complex integrated work stream;
- Project support/ management of a large departmental programme is a necessity;
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, multi-level, project based environment with emphasis on timelines and delivery of projects on-time and in-budget;
- Flexibility and adaptability to rapid change and different circumstances;
- Knowledge of previous major event planning, coordination and delivery.
