The purpose of the Manager - People with Accessible Needs (PwAN) Manager role is to lead the implementation of the Expo 2020’s Accessibility and Inclusivity Strategy.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Ensure all services planned for the PwAN client group are being well developed and will be well delivered;
- Work with RE&D;(Real Estate & Development) to ensure the Site will be accessible;
- Ensure the functional areas are planning a seamless experience and it is applied across the Site.
- Monitor level of services being planned and developed.
- Align the training strategy, content development, material to be produced and training delivery regarding Accessible Needs with the Training team.
- Develop the PwAN generic journey.
- Identify gaps and overlaps on the services planned for PwAN.
- Lead the Official Accessibility Working group within the organization;
- Support the training of all areas on the development of the training content for all staff regarding how to deal with PwAN;
- Support the training of all areas on the development of various formats of their content to ensure PwAN can have the same level of training of everyone.
المهارات
6+ years in a manager role working with an accessibility programme as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree;
- Put the seamless Guest Experience for PwAN at the heart of the planning and service design;
- Programme / project manager experience leading complex projects;
- Experience in working in a multi-cultural organization, GCC region desirable;
- Experience on development of an accessible operation;
- Experience on designs and masterplans analyses;
- Experience with accessibility guidelines;
- Experience on design a client journey;
- Knowledge across all key event operational functions, understanding the Guest Services dependencies with the other operational functions and non-operational directorates;
- Communicates well and consistently at Director/executive level down to large teams of workforce e.g. volunteers;
- Skilled people manager, cultural sensitivity and people developer;
- Knowledge of a previous major event planning, coordination and delivery.
