Quest Search & Selection is working with one of the retail leaders in the region who are looking for international homeware buyers to relocate to the UAE.
Key qualities:
Candidates who can bring fresh approaches, ideas and best practice from retailers in the UK, Eastern and Western Europe, APAC, South Africa and South East Asia.Candidates must understand their target markets, demographics and specific retail trends.Someone who can come in and be immediately impactful through strategy, concepts and ideas and most importantly, through “rolling up the sleeves”.Must have at least 2 years as a homeware/furniture/home buyerSomeone who really understands buying and would be able to demonstrate a track record of cycling the product ranges across the categories and brands every six months to keep the offering fresh and competitive.Strength in character and emotional intelligence that allows them to deal with the typical frictions within the buying space.There should be a passion for the industry and for “good buying” that can really influence a brand.
