Our client, an International business who supply various products to the cement industry are currently looking to hire a Senior Sales Manager to grow the market in the GCC.
Responsibilities:
In charge of developing and growing the cementitious trading business across UAE and the Middle East region.
Successful previous experience in construction materials Sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets with proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Manage order processing and logistic arrangement request
Manage risk management of customer’s credit lines and stock inventories
Ensure all logistics activities are well coordinated
Work closely and liaise with the shipping and operations teams, following the trade process from start to finish, taking on any problem that may arise.
Stay up to date with market trends and changes to assist with the development of new business opportunities.
Travel around Middle East region to meet/visit customers
Has initiative and be observant, good attitude, willing to learn, good communicational skills, analytical mind

Role reports into Regional Director
• Minimum Bachelors in the Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience trading physical bulk products with at least 2-3 years’ experience trading cement, and cementitious products (clinker, fly ash, microsilica ,gypsum, slags etc.)
• A strong network of contacts in the dry bulk and construction industries, across UAE and the Middle East region.
• Excellent knowledge of trading, shipping, and operations processes.
• Fluency in English
• Fluent in Arabic and/or Hindi is desirable
• Valid car driving licence
• Located in UAE
