The purpose of Specialized Vehicle Manager role is to manage the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation concerning specialized vehicles.
The main responsibilties of this role will include:
- Manage the inventory of the specialized vehicles (e.g. golf carts), and the sign in and sign out process;
- Inspect, diagnose and ensure any repair, mechanical defects or failures are rectified in a timely fashion;
- Ensure that all equipment and specialized vehicles are being maintained correctly and used safely and efficiently;
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of administrative paperwork as is required;
- Communicate with team members on the preventive maintenance, equipment usage, proper cleaning and safe operation of equipment;
- Maintain close, productive working relationship with other Expo departments as it relates to specialized vehicles usage, and specialized vehicles functions, routes, policies and activities.
- Assist with definition of work scopes, soliciting and analysing qualified bidders and bids, and negotiation of terms and performance standards for service/ maintenance related contracts;
- Develop programmes to identify, monitor, and influence specialized transportation requirements, maximising resources, identifying trends, and targeting areas requiring in-depth focus for improvements and efficiencies.
المهارات
6+ years’ experience on a similar role as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree;
- Strong IT Skills particularly in MS Office, in PowerPoint, Project Management, and other information management software;
- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in handling short notice requirements as well as working shifts including Nights;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent understanding of financial reports including composition and analysis of budgets;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Strong planning and organisation skills;
