The Manager-Workforce Planning is responsible for leading the planning process to progressively forecast the number of workforce (paid staff, volunteers and contractors) required to deliver the event. The position will be critical to support the Event Time planning across the full organization by producing reliable and accurate Workforce Planning information to all Departments and Functional Areas who have a dependency on this information to develop their plans.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Responsible for the implementation of headcount planning to ensure the right number of people captured within each department and functional area;
- Support and take a lead role in the implementation of workforce planning exercises, including continual review and exploitation of headcount data for paid staff, volunteers and contractors;
- Act as a Workforce Planning Business Partner by providing expert advice and best practices to the organization, as well as mediate discussions between various stakeholders including senior management;
- Lead the dot planning exercise for assigned set of Functional Areas;
- Provide senior management team increasing certainty on the headcount forecast to support the annual budget and planning cycles, risk and issues and help inform the governance forums;
- Generate presentations and reports, perform analyses of data, and make recommendations;
- Lead functional areas in the development of Event Time position descriptions that outline key responsibilities and skills required to perform the role which will serve as an essential tool in the recruitment process.
المهارات
6+ years’ experience in a similar role as well as:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field;
- Experience in engaging with higher management;
- Negotiation Skills;
- Advanced MS office in particularly Excel.
