The purpose of the role of the Head of Operational Delivery is to plan and deliver on the Security Program for both the readiness and event phases. The role includes supporting the event operational functions, processes and SOPs
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Prepare a strategic plan in consultation with the Director of Security Operations and relevant stakeholders;
- Support the Director of Security Operations in defining the short term and long-term goals and objectives for both the readiness and event phases;
- Oversee and Manage Security Planning and Delivery, for the Zones, PSA’s, VSA’s, and RSA during the phases as defined;
- Plan and build initiatives and deliverables against defined operational plans to achieve Expo2020 goals and objectives;
- Draft and write detailed plans related to all aspects of specified security operations, including; scenario, contingency, crisis and emergency evacuation, and others;
- Develop and Implement Operational Plans, and Standard Operating Procedures as well as all supporting documentation related to all aspects of specified security operations;
- Support the Director and Deputy Head of Security on Security activities and initiatives, aligned to holistic Security goals;
- Manage the inclusion and compliance of all UAE security regulations and guidelines as required.
المهارات
- 8 years’ experience in Security or similar role;
- Military, Police or Security background;
- Strong written communication skills, with proven previous experience of writing procedures and plans;
- Strong Presentation skills;
- Demonstrated time management skills;
- Demonstrated experience in delivering on plans;
- Strong Attention to detail skills.
