Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of food and agricultural products with over 1,800 employees spread across 7 countries. They are seeking to recruit a “Production Manager” to be based in Dubai, UAE. The Production Manager reports to the Factory Manager.
المهارات
• To assist the Factory Manager in all matters related to production of quality products at the right cost and delivered within the agreed times
• Ensuring that all necessary resources are available & utilized in safe & efficient manner with defined safety & Quality standards
• During the absence/leave of Production Manager, Assistant Production Manager will be in charge
• Analyze production targets and breakdown into objectives for each work area per shift - planning and organizing the shift employees in achieving daily Production targets
• Monitor and ensure that all personnel adhere to work instructions and procedures
• Responsible for optimizing machine efficiencies, controlling wastage and determining and analyzing yield and material consumption
• HACCP/ISO/GMP/BRC/CUSTOMER SPECIFIC system implementation and upkeep.
• Maintain Site Hygiene and Housekeeping and disposal of by-products (waste), waste water and re cycled items
• Manage supervisor and staff development – Training and mentoring and providing skills development requirements to Factory Manager
• Motivate and encourage supervisors by agreeing and setting time-bound objectives. Conduct regular reviews to check progress
• Ensure that Health and Safety procedures are adhered to. Conduct safety instruction relative to personal protective equipment and safe handling of departmental tools and machines, i.e. safe knife handling
• Monitor supervisor attendance, time management and shift allocation
• Participate in the maintenance of operational controls and compliance with HACCP audit and regulatory guidelines for all activities
• Ensure customer service levels by producing quality products within the agreed time-frames
• Ensure customer complaints are investigated and corrective action is completed
• Assist in the implementation of ad-hoc projects, as and when required
• Perform any other assignments as required by the Factory Manager
• Assist with new product formulations (Research & Development)
• HACCP/YUM/ISO/BRC – documentation (Master cleaning schedules & GMP check sheets)
• Production Records and filing
• Time Management (Employee Time sheets)
