Looking for an experienced Group General Manager – who will manage all business development and operations based in Djibouti (East Africa).
Provides overall leadership of the Group so as to increase company share value, sustain an excellent customer experience, and provide a challenging and fulfilling workplace for the employees.
The Group GM will be a commercially-driven person with an entrepreneurial mindset. The ability to drive business growth within the region and put in place supporting structures is essential.
Group General Manager Duties & Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
• Create, communicate, and activate a vision for the Group.
• Work with the management team to develop a multi-year strategic plan that moves the company toward the vision
• In cooperation with team members, identify, analyze, understand and build strategies to penetrate new markets, upon approval of the Company Chairman.
• Represent the organization at community activities to enhance the organization’s community profile
• Ensure that the operation of the organization meets the expectations of its clients and of the company.
• Provide the Group Chairman with comprehensive, regular reports on the revenues and expenditure of the organization.
• Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of the work of the organization and to identify changes in the community served by the organization
• Review the annual business plan and budget as prepared by the each management team.
• Report regularly on critical activities and plans to the Group Chairman and of the company.
• Review and evaluate monthly/quarterly financial reports from the management team.
• Review the business model of the company regularly.
• Represent the company at industry meetings and with customers and suppliers.
• Work with management team members to develop and position the brands in each market.
• Set Target financial and market growth for each company
• Review, and guide the strategic planning for each General Managers to meet the all group strategic objective.
المهارات
Having a strong background leading a construction and industrial organization.
Minimum of 5 years of Construction Industry Management Experience.
5-10 years minimum Business Management Experience.
Deep knowledge of managing and growing a business.
Strong Communication Skills.
Fluency in the Arabic and English languages, French speaking is desirable.
A proven track-record of driving aggressive business growth.
Be entrepreneurial and possess high integrity.
Possess strong leadership, personal skills and intelligence as they are needed to function as the CEO of the region.
The candidate must be able to travel and willing to be assign in Djibouti East Africa.
