Position Summary:
This technical sales engineer role we are looking for needs to provide clients with sales advices and technical support through all region. The role will be providing technical knowledge to identify new business, negotiate projects, review sales performance, technical supervision, installation and commissioning of dosing equipments. Utilising existing and new knowledge to support customers in maximising the potential of our equipment and offering advice during the sales process to ensure our customers realise the benefits of working with Hydro and to add value to our customers through a consultative approach and understanding of their applications.
The role will be based in Dubai, Middle East and will require travel to support our customers throughout EMEA region. Reporting to the Business
Development Manager who based in Dubai as well, this role will be instrumental in supporting our customers achieve their aims and supporting
the sales organisation to deliver on its promises.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
•Generate and execute sales plans for customer base and in assigned competitively-held accounts, to meet profit increase goals including periodic customer visits, site visits and technical trainings. Target percentage of sales time will be approximately 30-50%.
•Work closely with current and prospective customers and their technical teams (mainly decision makers) to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales.
•Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers, including local and global industrial cleaning chemical manufacturers.
•Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
•Mechanical or mechanical-electronical commissioning of small and large chemical dosing equipment/units for various customer projects in all region. Target percentage of installation and commissioning time will be 50-70%
•Performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing recommendations to customers.

Minimum Requirements:
•Five years of technical sales, field sales support and installation-commissioning experience
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial)
•Possess a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record history
•No restrictions in travelling to GCC countries, Europe and Africa
•Comfortable with highly flexible working hours
•Experience on pump principles
Preferred Requirements:
•Chemical industry / application experience
•Experience on hydraulic systems / dosing equipments / flow controls
