The job incumbent is responsible for managing consulting/advisory related businesses (outside the classification scope) for both Marine and Offshore industries, ensuring client satisfaction for all aspects of the assigned consulting services through delivery of operational and technical excellence. The incumbent manages and ensures people working in the unit (technical and non-technical) are adequately trained and/or certified to perform the jobs and duties required to deliver services.
Functional Competencies: 1. Manage growth and profitability and provide effective management leadership for Consultancy & Outsourcing (C&O;) and non-class Services business in IMEA Zone. 2. Develop and achieve strategic plan and yearly budget for IMEA Zone related to C&O;Services3. Drive and support Country Management, Commercial and Consulting and Outsourcing (C&O;) teams to market, sell, manage resources, deliver and monitor Services.4. Implement consistent operating modes for Services in the Zone to secure efficiency and global service quality level.5. Coordinate with M&O;Division Service teams, other M&O;Service Affiliates and other M&O;Zone Service Directors.6. Develop and manage local Service partnerships.
Specific Responsibilities and KPIs:
As per annual objectives and KPIs set by management:1. Generate revenue and growth towards achievement of Services 2020 strategic plan and yearly budget of the Zone.2. Regular and effective client engagement within the Zone with purpose to sell and grow market share for Services.3. Develop and manage local Service partnerships.

Other essential requirements:
1. Degree qualified in Marine Engineering or equivalent with minimum 20 years working experience in Marine and Offshore related industry (work experience in classification societies is plus) and 5 years in people management capacity.2. Possess excellent communication, networking and influencing skills.3. Ability to inspire and motivate team members.4. Results driven and possess good business acumen.
