Our client, a renowned Contractor in Dubai is currently in search of a QA/QC Director who will be directly reporting to the CEO/COO
Role Purpose:
Established a corporate quality system and team that promotes customer satisfaction and that positively impacts the financial performance of the company. Champion continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives to establish an effective Quality Management System (QMS).
Key Accountabilities:
• Communicate and update QA/QC team and Project Managers and Directors of projects’ quality aspects through electronic communication tools (emails and reports or face to face sessions) whenever required.
• Manage the performance of the QA/QC department effectiveness and ensure full optimization of company’s quality standards.
• Establishes and implements metrics for monitoring system effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound product quality decisions.
• Performs root cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
• Establishes collection and analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product quality.
• Collate the outcomes from each project towards further development of departmental procedures across the company.
• Review and analyse received reports from quality department heads of all running projects and identify risk deviation and execute corrective measures.
• Attend meetings with the project teams and subcontractors for quality assurance purposed whenever needed.
• Review Client/Consultant feedback and take all appropriate actions to ensure achieving high quality standard and client appreciation through assessing company’s performance.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or other related engineering field; master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years experience in construction, managing quality assurance/quality control functions is required in the *MIDDLE EAST*
• Must have experience developing and implementing QA/QC procedures.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in quality control, testing
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to work well and communicate with internal and external individuals at all levels.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
