General Manager - Catering

Overview:
We are an ambitious company within retail, food production & food trading industries based in UAE with aggressive expansion plans across the GCC, East Africa and MENA regions.
Key Responsibilities:

Define the vision of the catering business unit in line with the Group’s vision of expansion and growth.

Study the market situation, stay up to date with the industry practices including technology.

Develop business plans and budgets to achieve and exceed the management’s expectations.

Identify and develop strategic alliances with government, semi-government, facility management & real estate, potential strategic partners.

Lead and own the financial and operational performance of the business unit
Lead the team to achieve highest level of business excellence and profitable business model.

Regularly analyze competition and take actions to outperform it.

Oversee hiring of the key positions and talent development programs

المهارات

Has a thorough understanding of the P&L;.

5 years prior experience at same level with proven track record.

Strong knowledge of food, industry trends and fine dining points of service.

Must have UAE market experience with strong channels.

University degree in any related subject.

Strong knowledge of sales, sales administration and sourcing processes.

Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
