My client is launching a new global streaming service which will disrupt the Media and Entertainments Industry, the company is heavily bac by several leading investment and global technology companies. Based in Dubai Internet City you will be taking the app from inception all the way to go-live, you will translate the needs of the users and help work alongside a highly skilled technical team in making it become a reality!! Key Responsibilities of the Senior Mobile App Product Manager:
• Source various information streams from different channels like user research, internal stakeholders, support, social media etc to have a dynamic idea backlog.
• Lay out what should be developed tomorrow and in the next 3 months by contributing to the overall product vision, business and marketing strategy.
• Take ownership of timelines, resources and prove with Data / ROI strategy to show that the product is worth to develop.
• Join scrum review meetings with product owners to approve the product that will meet with end users.
• Ensure that the company is aware of the value that product team is delivering. Be the product evangelist in the company to inspire people.
• Work very closely with your cross-functional peers like engineering managers, customer engagement managers, BI managers etc
Key Requirements as a Senior Mobile App Product Manager:
• 5+ years end-user product management or consumer product design experience within technology.
• Proven work experience in product management.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Experience with Scrum and other agile development methods.
• Ability to work independently to get an idea from inception to implementation, including knowledge of techniques for validation and testing.
• Excellent communicator of product decisions and the rationale behind them.
