As our Legal Counsel, working out of our office in Dubai, you will refer directly to the Head of Legal & Advisory and become part of a legal team of four strong professionals. The team is handling their tasks from A to Z, but always ready to spar with each other and give feedback when needed.
Your main responsibility is to advice the group on legal issues and handle administrative tasks related thereto for the entity in Dubai. You will provide essential support to our managers, thereby allowing them to focus on the strategic aspects of their work. You are expected to have a solid legal understanding, an analytical mind-set and to work methodically with high quality standards while always focusing on the commercial value of your advice.
In this role you will work very closely with the business, giving you the opportunity to see projects through with a focus on high performance and results. Therefore, it is important that taking ownership of projects and tasks comes naturally to you. You can also expect some travel activities when handling legal matters abroad.
Areas of Focus
Draft, amend, negotiate and generally provide assistance in connection with the entering into and management of commercial contracts
Corporate law related matters including structuring, establishing and phasing out legal entities
Coordinate tender activities and prepare and complete pre-qualification questionnaires, invitation to tenders and tender documents
Handle insurance related matters
Analyse various legal issues and provide ad hoc legal support to the organisation
المهارات
Professional skills
A Master of Laws degree
At least three years of experience after graduating, preferably as a lawyer or from a multinational company
Fluent in written and spoken English, Spanish is an advantage
IT proficient – experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc.)

Analytical and detail-oriented

Persistent and with a strong personal drive
Very good judgement
An excellent communicator
