Our client, a renowned MNC specializing in Manufacturing is currently seeking to recruit a Layout Designer
Objective of the position:
Processing offers and orders with technical support
Ability to design the layout of the equipment in the packaging and processing factory
Technical contact person for Sales, Procurement, Service and the end customer. Project coordination and supervision in the area of line engineering.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Development of concepts and solutions for the filling and packaging lines including planning for quotation and orders in consideration of line issues such as usability, accessibility, material handling, etc.
Preparation of alternative solutions
Clarification and coordination of the layout-solution with the planning experts
Coordination with the relevant persons in the product lines regarding technical questions
Clarifying of customer requirements with the sales representatives
Perform order modifications
Perform all specific technical calculations, for example dimensioning of buffer sections on basis of given formula and data tables

Qualification and experience: Completed technical study or a comparable qualification – machine and process related knowledge Advanced skills in SAP (module PDM) Good Knowledge in CAD and Medusa are welcome Elaborated communication skills (internal and customer related) Willingness to travel
