We are now recruiting for Assistant Sales Manager/Associate Team Leader. You will be directly reporting to the Sales Manager.
Organization Unit Purpose
The Units core responsibility is to increase the market share of Credit Cards & acquire more New To Bank (NTB) customers and function in line with the Group’s overall business strategy. This Unit is responsible to bring new companies to the bank’s approved list of employers & capitalize on these relationships to increase overall penetration of retail banking products. Also to provide Excellent Service to Customers before and after sales.
Job Purpose
• Monitor the daily activity of Credit Cards Team and ensure productivity levels are in line with targets assigned
• Ensure the Bank’s policy/credit guidelines set by the GRC/Product to provide superior customer service to our Valued Customers with less credit Risk.
• Follow up with RCC for faster processing & approvals against the cases submitted by the Credit Cards Teams/members
• Maintain low ration of discrepancies from the credit card files on daily basis
• Resolution of Customer Complaints for Queries within the Stipulated Time Frame defined by the management
• Ensure high standards of service levels while managing team and relationships with both internal and external customers
• Attend training and development programs. Identify potential people in the team and send them to training
• Identify a potential resource within the assigned team, to groom him or her to be a possible Team Leader.
Main Task

• Customer Complaint (SR) Resolution Rate (Percentage of total SR with TAT of the Unit) Score taken from CRM
• Ensure adherence to laid down standards of KYV & AML
• Closely monitor high risk accounts
• Ensure compliance to local and group operational guidelines and operation risk are adhered & No LGD/Audit queries raised & Ensure Percentage of sourcing discrepancies at RCC/OPC with in target.
• Attend training session for self-development purpose
• Identify training needs for sales officers and nominate them for training
• Develop business by proposing listing new companies under ALE list and maintain existing corporate relationship in the market

• Target to source business from low penetration companies
Key Results
• To manage a sales team of sales officers and achieve the Targets assigned by the management, including cross sell targets
• Ensure all cases are processed by credit and queries are resolved
• Liaised with product team to obtain required rate approvals
• Customer Satisfaction/Resolve Customer’s Complaints with the fined TAT
• Compliance of Bank’s Policies, Guidelines in accordance with CB directors
• Attend Training & Development Programs arranged by the bank management
• Identify potential staff who require Training
• Business Development and relationship maintenance

• High level of computer knowledge & Skills
Experience
• Minimum 4 years experience in Banking
• UAE experience is a must
• Should be able to perform a team leader role, communicate well and possess good knowledge about credit policies
• Diversified management experience in the area of Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Training and product.
• Sales Retail Banking experience
• Must be highly achievement oriented and accustomed to work with short time schedules. He/She should have a considerable planning and organizational capabilities
