Job Description
Responsible for delivering, monitoring and reporting the marketing plan for the assigned business units in the segment. Activities will include - market research, competitors’ analysis, brand positioning, product positioning, marketing mix planning, events management, social media marketing, internal communication management, and so on.
Principal Accountabilities
Brand Management
• Execute the brands strategy plan that is developed by the Head of Marketing & Communication involving brand positioning, brand packaging, creation of value propositions, and value drivers in coordination with Group Communication
• Establish and ensure brand standards are being followed by all stakeholders, to facilitate brand consistency and boost brand equity
• Review all marketing literature and campaigns with key stakeholders to ensure all creative initiatives are working in compliance with brand and regulatory guidelines in coordination with head of Marketing & Communications.
Market Analysis
• Proactively conducting market research for the business assigned to develop an understanding of market conditions, competitors, customers and positioning in the market. These markets could be established domestic markets or completely new international markets
Marketing and Communications Management
• Planning and implementing the annual marketing strategy for the business by working closely with business units which includes; communication plan, marketing campaigns, promotions, advertisements and so on.
• Deliver a marketing program that delivers a cohesive approach across all brands, involving the JVs or shareholders’ separate Brands and Communications teams
• Recommending and implementing the most suitable marketing mix to meet defined and agreed objectives
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing initiatives by developing evaluation mechanism with the Head of Marketing and Communications and applying these evaluation tools
Contents Management
• Drive PR/media relations by developing compelling leadership platforms and stories, create content with the help of group communications, pitch to and place content with a wide range of media outlets
• Create and update marketing collateral, presentations, brochures, product sheets, fact sheets, case studies, white papers, web content, newsletters, signage, advertisements and sales tools
• Manage the creative process including, the production of artwork and liaising with designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers
Social Media and Event Management
• Facilitate all events and social media platforms for the business unit in coordination with Group Communication
Business Analysis
• Responsible for monitoring monthly product performance and measuring return on investment (ROI) of marketing initiatives.
• Review the performance of the products in coordination with the sales team and review the strategy accordingly
المهارات
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
• 8-10 years of Marketing Communications experience preferably in the in oil & Gas or FMCG field
• Experience developing events, social media campaigns and promotions.
