Farm Manager

We are seeking a Farm Manager to manage the operations of a hi-tech sensor-controlled, indoor vertical farm based in Abu Dhabi.

The Farm Manager will be responsible for all aspects of running a modern, fast paced,
high-technology, indoor hydroponic farm.

The Farm Manager will oversee a small team to ensure consistent production of high-quality produce for local markets. A basic component of the position will be to simultaneously manage several business activities as well as assisting with daily farm operation. The ideal candidate
will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit and have a blend of growing and business
management experience.

Motivated, energetic individuals with plant science, agronomy or related backgrounds
and well versed on the business side aspects of managing a business. Experience
or education in both a plus.

Minimum 2 year experience working in greenhouse or production environment.

Minimum 2 year experience with business side management (or related education).

A strong entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness to roll up their sleeves when
needed.

A person who is comfortable and capable wearing many hats and has the ability to
take charge and thrive in the midst of uncertainty.

Superb technical problem solving skills.

Basic capacity for general maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, and low voltage
electrical systems preferred.

Experience with common data collection, analysis and documentation tools

Ability to effectively take direction and implement changes quickly

Ability to communicate complex ideas efficiently and effectively to stakeholders.
