GIS Specialist for UAE

VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India.

VAM Systems is currently looking for GIS Specialist for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill Set required:

Minimum 10 years’ experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience as Project Management/ Business management
GIS Project Management experience is mandatory
Detail oriented, problem solver
Work with development team to meet project schedules
Prioritize development efforts based on business needs

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer, IT, Remote Sensing and GIS, Geography, Geology
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

Role and Responsibilities

Identify and collect GIS business requirements from client using interviews, groups sessions, case studies, research and feedback on current system functionality.
Plan and analyze business requirements via implementation of traceability matrix.
Create business process flow diagrams for new product feature design.
Participate with product development team to design user interfaces.
Record detailed use cases for product feature design and development.
Assist in internal training and rollout activities.
Support GIS business testing and interface with QA.
Observe current technology trends and make recommendations.
Provide assistance on business analysis presentations to higher level of management.
Some limited domestic travel, as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Terms and conditions: 

Joining time frame:  2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks).

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – UAE and shall be deputed to one of the leading organizations in UAE.
