We have an excellent new opportunity for a Certification Engineer to join our global organisation. The successful candidate will provide a technical service on behalf of Intertek to customers who have applied for certificates, confirming compliance of equipment with various published standards.
COMPETENCIES
Familiarity with IEC standards concerning domestic & home appliances and consumer electrical products
Ideally, experience in the subject of restriction of hazardous substances
Basic understanding of energy efficiency for home appliances, lighting products, luminaries and lighting controlgear
Knowledge of equipment for use in explosive atmosphere
Experience in ISO 9001 and IEC 17025 is preferred
المهارات
• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent in terms of education, experience, and training
• Experience in testing and/or certification of electrical products
• Familiarity with laboratory testing methods
• Ability to scrutinise and compare technical documents
• Drive performance by ensuring performance expectations are met
• Ability to review constructively the work of other engineers
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service
• Highly energised mind-set with willingness and desire to learn and adapt individually
• Able to act on own initiative
• Excellent time management
